Crikey Mrs Mac whats that one? Not heard of that one. They certainly drained me of blood so seem to be doing every test but dont think it will include that one??

Yeh so do I fed up with feeling like this now its been for far too long.......The problem with me is I am always busy busy with everything not able to chill out......even get bored lying in the bath!!!! So I never give my body chance to recover.....as a locum I need to work and dont get sick pay AND hate letting others down........which is why when I am off ill I am usually at deaths door

I know a few people that have had this including myself. Started in December, really weird when you just loose all your energy. Felt like I had a golf ball in my throat yet wasn't sore or had any other symptoms.

Problem we have is we don't take time off beacause we feel guilty we're letting someone down and because some of us don't get paid sick leave. It then takes longer to get better and we pass it round to each other for ages.

I found that taking paracetamol helped. I hate to take medication but my throat got so sore one night I had to... ... or cry! But never looked back next morning felt great so continued for the day and it went.

Within a week I was better. I hope you get better soon.

Oh Stacey thats sound awful too hope your feeling better soon....I just wish I could zap this virus away for good and get my energy back!!! just feel so tired after menial tasks

goodness sounds awful, iv had pharyg/larygn and tracheitis since time began it seems (mid dec), lost my voice the lot, went drs and was prescribed oxytet, which iv gotta admit i was a bit rubbish at taking, last thurs all came back with avengence really painful so im currently back on oxy, pretty much drunk all the time on cough syrup and gargling asprin (bleurghhhh)

Interesting thanks littlehays.....it would be good if something did show up on bloods to make me understand why I am feeling like this all the time!!!! Asked for them to test for lymes disease as well as walk the dog on the fells so just to be on safe side

glad you're having bloods done i had full-blown flu for three weeks in early 2006 have never felt so crap and rundown in my life, that was in the feb and in the april got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.
