The area is as gorgeous as he says it is in his books!<br />The museum is bigger then I thought it would be. You first walk through James/Alfs life and then it goes over into &#39;the veterinary world over the years&#39;. All the instruments they used in those days and before that time are all there! </p> <p>I have to say I visited the museum before I started reading the books! I had seen the TV series off course and that was enough for me already :)<br />I only recently got given my first copies of his books.
