An update : my client and I have somehow moved on to first-name terms with jolly rodger. He's now known as "Rodge" and is perfectly formed. He does appear into view more often than most dogs, so I'm thinking I should book him in to be chastised.

I had a client today ask if the vet had checked her cat (that was in for castrate) anal glands as she had never seen such large swollen ones on a cat before - took me a min to realise she must have been talking about his testicles!

I had a man explain that he thought the blood in his dog's urine was caused by the pig's ear treat that must have scratched the inside of the dog's bladder when being digested.

Just yesterday, I was asked if I could microwave a labrador puppy. I've also got a client who's determined her Westie has a worryingly large jolly rodger.
