&lt;p&gt;I don&amp;#39;t think they need to be carried out in the majority of practices unless you are opening a surgery that has previously been an old, unused building. We have blank Legionnaires assessment forms in my old practice and I was told by the people at Salus that for the majority of places they don&amp;#39;t need doing unless you work in high water companies or if you have any showers in the building that haven&amp;#39;t been used or maintained for a long time.&lt;/p&gt;
