I was going to say your local BVNA CPD ones will happily welcome you, I often have different levels of staff coming to mine from receptionists to vets!!

Those are great websites, I did the Dental Leadership before I did my ANA, I've just finished the Dechra fluid therapy online CPD and I'm working through the inpatient care one which is quite comprehensive. It depends on your interests though really, if it's something you'll enjoy you'll pick it up more easily.

I would think that most CPD is suitable depending on your interests. When the ad says its for QVNs its generally because that is the level the talk is aimed at, so if you haven't learnt anaesthesia for instance yet you may not understand some parts to it.

BVNA regional CPD tends to be aimed at all levels, so keep a look out in your area for that (plus the meetings are affordable!). There are some online courses too that are free that are worth doing in the meantime:

Quite often there's nothing to say CPD events or talks are for QVNs only and no-one else is allowed, but often they have a recommendation on who they're for or what level. I am a qualified ANA but I am going to the BVNA London CPD day which includes emergency care and advanced anaesthesia. Just because I can't use the knowledge in practice doesn't mean I'm not interested in it!

I suppose it depends on what your company is willing to pay.

I've been to a parasite one called 'Wondering Bugs" I think.

Basilcally about flea/tick/worming tx etc abroad and here. Its run by Joy Howell, and was really good.

I also plan on attending 'Bugs Inside and Out' in April as I want to start up my own clinic for parasite control.

I think anything to do with flea/worming and weight/nutrition would be a good CPD for you to go on, and be useful for your practice :)
