Hi Elle,

I just made sure they knew that I was aware that the job is really hard, physically and emotionally, and not just about cuddling cute animals all day. Also that I really wanted to progress and have a rewarding career. I just wanted to show how serious I am about the job and not be another "I love animals" person.

They showed me the amount of letters they had in one day, it was about 20, so you have to make your letter stand out. Most weeks they get about 100. It really shows you how many people are after that same job!

Its at Blacks veterinary group in Dudley. I sent loads of letters not expecting to hear anything but they phoned and wanted to see me. I guess it was good timing. I am really lucky, I know how difficult starting out can be.
