&lt;p&gt;yes I buy a sack of mucky spuds, carrots and whatever is going&amp;nbsp;from the farm down the road whenever I can but because of the subzero temps have only been buying small amounts recently as they dont keep as well for me. &lt;p&gt;I also feed my cats Butchers Classic cat food in tins 400g (preservative free.... have a cat with calici virus) that are 12 x 400g for about &amp;pound;5.20 or 6 x 400g for about &amp;pound;2.70 from Sainsburys/ Pets @ home... loads cheaper than pouches... and at least 6 different flavours.... no complaints so far.....&lt;/p&gt;
