Thanks Julie will do.....dont be apprehensive about locuming its a great experience....I have been lucky I think as all the placements I have been to have been great....sometimes the accomodation isnt great but you make the best of it

Good luck with interview.....I think its definately worth waiting for the right job to turn up. I am enjoying doing locum work at moment met lots of lovely people and worked in great practices.......but just i need of a new challenge summit to get my teeth in to

At the moment I am having a little time off from work. I have an interview at the end of the month in a hydro centre so wish me luck and if that doesn't work out I will locum for a while until I find a job that I really want. Just hope this one comes up trumps

Julie what are you doing now then? I am wanting to find something that will give me job satisfaction, allow me to be working near home and earn a good income......thats why I am thinking vet physio but its 3 years of studying and expensive so just trying to think about all options

Hi Kerry I know what you mean I have been in practice for more than 20 years and and made the decision to get out. I am hoping to get into hydrotherapy as it really interests me after my dog neede it after a TPLO. It makes sense to try and find something you are interested in and go with that. You can always locum in the meantime

I am currently doing locum work and enjoying the emergency side of vet nursing. But where I live I am not near any hospitals and moving is not an option. So I am needing to think about a long term plan.......I am contemplating the vet physio 3 year option but still looking into it.......love vet nursing and achieved lots but getting bored again so need a new challenge........

I know what you mean Kerry, I've been doing it 11 1/2 years if you dont count the 2 yrs voluntary I did before I started proper work and feels like yesterday!

What are your interests? I quite fancy doing the American Veterinary Tech Anaesthesia course at some point....probably waaaayy down the line!
