Unfortunately all companies contacted are unwilling to let us have machines on a trial basis! After much research the Kronos autoclave seems to come out best.
A class S will usually pull a single vacuum pre and post sterilisation and is suitable for small, non complex porous/hollow loads. A class B will pull multiple fractionated vacuums pre sterilisation and is the most suitable for bulkier items such as gowns. Small table top class B machines will usually have a 'rapid' class S cycle, so you get the best of both worlds.

You'll probably only get one gown in at a time with the machine you mentioned, but is that a problem for you?

Does the machine have seperate clean and dirty water reservoirs? It is desirable.

I have no experience of the Kronos machines and can't comment on their reliability etc,. I would certainly ensure that spare parts, service contracts and repairs are readily available before going ahead with a purchase. You don't want to be waiting 6 months for a gasket to arrive from Korea!

Re: New autoclave Kronos?

whoooops! sorry!

Re: New autoclave Kronos?

[quote user="Phrin SVN"]
