My father-in-law was walking her as usual and the gentleman had come out of his door, felt dizzy and fallen. She arrived when she was 2 1/2 years old and heavily pregnant after a nasty split up.

I whelped her and when the breeder came to see her said that he had never seen her so happy and would I like her instead of one of her puppies. I jumped at the chance.

It took over a year to get her to trust people and learn to play as she was never allowed toys. Even now we have to clear out the crate of clepto'ed toys once a week so her and Hercules can go to bed.

We passed our pets as therapy assessment with flying colours much to the surprise of the examiner as he wasn't too keen on having a stafford on his books and put her through the same test 3 times to try and get a reaction. It wasn't until he left that we got a placement.

I'm a very proud mummy of three staffords, all pets as well as show dogs, together with the rest of the "zoo"

Re: Maya my star

Aw that is wonderful, you must be a very proud Mummy!!
