They may just think because you have been there a year now that you are settled and prefer to stay where you are?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Keep applying, i have had so many set backs whilst trying to get on the VCA but if you really want to do it, it will all be worth it when you finally get the placement, i have been there and know how hard it is to keep trying when all you seem to get is rejection, but you will get there :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you looked on the jobs section to this site? I looked before and noticed a few practices are after Assistants.&lt;/p&gt;
