How about doing almost 3 solid weeks of kennels with not really anything mind boggling difficult to look after... switch to a night duty

Re: Define Sods Law:

Yes sods law every night duty you normally do is quiet except the one when you need some extra sleep. Called out.

The best one was the 5mins before you go home and a PTS rings in except they get lost on the way to the pactice and it's 2 hours before you go home. Poor them and poor me I was tired!

Re: Define Sods Law:

Haha it sure is! As they say these things are sent to try you! I remember a time when weekends at work had been relatively dead for ages. Then the weekend that muggins is on I had an emergency splenectomy, a ruptured pyometra, a foreign body, a haemophylliac cat rta, a dog rta and a gdv for good measure. All needed intensive care, dont think i got much down time that weekend!!!

On a positive note, all my weekends since have seemed a breeze!! And I think I learned loads.

Hope your nights havent got any worse!!
