I think mine went ok... again not overally sure but at least I didn't resheaf the needle or leave the valve closed this time. Fingers crossed, really don't want to go through that again.

Mine went ok I think. I have thrown my OSCE's in the bin so that I don't look at them. I really hope that I have passed as this was my second attempt and can't afford to take them for a third time.

Did mine at Nottingham yesterday, the examiners were lovely (I was expecting them to be ogres lol) and put me at ease, I felt alright about them when I came out but then made the mistake of looking at the OSCE sheets on the way home and dont feel so good now oh well theres always March!!!

My main worry was getting there but i have made it to manchester now so its just gettin up at 7 to be at the college for 11.

it will be day of cramming tomorrow for me :-D

I have re-booked to re do it. Got it tomorrow evening. But can't afford to do it for a third time. My partner has paid for my second attempt. No one about not getting the feed back. In a way i was kinda glad that I didn't as I tend to dwell on things

Have you not booked in to do it again then? How come you never got your feedback? You might be suprised... I failed on silly things. Forgot to open the apl valve, resheafed a needle, choose a green needle for injecting, ran out of time on my bandage so didn't check tension. I got quite high percentages on them so I am hoping I can do ok this time. You just never know. :(!

I was the same. But I never got my feedback so don't know excatly where I went wrong

I really don't think I can do it again cost wise or emotionally.

I know how you feel, I feel very unmotivated now. I failed last time on silly things, and got high percentages so I am hoping I perform as well as last time but now know where I went wrong. Fingers crossed for this time, don't think I could go through it again.

Cheers Phrin,

You have given me some great advice, Iv got the OSCEs all printed and have been reading them over everyday. Iv booked a hotel nearby to stay the night before as its a three hour drive and my exams in the morning.

I guess my main worry is making a stupid mistake with a calculation cos im so nervous. But there is nothing i can do about that.

Cant wait til we all can see how we did in Jan.

Don't panic guys! It's not that bad, and most of the examiners I had were lovely, and seemed to want you to pass!

Best advice is learn the OSCE's off by heart - it may not be the way you do it in practice, but its the way you have to do it to pass ( Flash cards helped me, as did just downright reading, re-reading and re-reading the OSCEs until they were ingrained into my brain!

Secondly, if you are travelling, especially in this weather, beg steal or borrow the pennies to stay in a hotel the night before - the last thing you need with exams is panicking over whether you will be able to get there on time.

Yes Im going to Myerscough too. And yes its very scary. This is my first time tho. Fingers crossed its also the last!
