However, I need to introduce him to my other rabbits and guinea pig. Any ideas on the best way to go about this? My worst fear is that he may bully Rodney

Re: New Rabbit

Try swapping urine soaked litter/hay so they get used to each other smells

Re: New Rabbit

A friend of mine keeps Rabbits, lots of them in fact. Her whole garden is dedicated to them and at 1 point she had 30.

She would introduce a new one by taking them out in the car on the back seat, and going for a short drive, she obv did not take 30 at a time, but whatever one she was pairing it up with for sleeping purposes, she would do this and it seemed to work, and that way got used to each other a lot quicker.

Re: New Rabbit

well said Nick....heres hopping.....

Re: New Rabbit

[quote user="SaskiaVN"]

After a few days of sniffing and looking at each other through the cage gradually over a couple of weeks to a month (if all appears to go smoothly) let him have time with them building up slowly. If you are worried you can put an extra fence part around the cage so they can see and not touch noses. Then sniff and finally visit each other.
