you can just do a general search within a number of miles radius of your postcode, and then see what sort of jobs are available. That's how I found my Theatre Support Worker position.

If you have enough experience you can also join NHS Professionals which is an agency for staff.

Yeah best way is to sign up for email alerts. maybe look for other terms such as assistant and maybe trainee assistant practitioners.

Have you registered on NHS jobs? If you haven't, you can type in key words/location of what you're looking for and you are emailed then when something comes up. You can check the local trusts website as some will also advertise on there, and according to my sister (who is a nurse) you can also contact HR at the hospitals for an application form as most accept on-spec applications.

Try going onto your local NHS website rather than national, then jobs/ situations vacant (think thats what I did). I get updates via e-mail every week from them for jobs in the local area
