Doesn't anyone worry about infectious diseases? If one puppy has anything they can still give it to another and they're not immune with just 1 vacc.

Doesn't it contridict what we tell owners about picking up puppies and holding them so they don't get anything? Also if an virus was to spread to one of your puppy parties who would be responsible? Who would pick up the bill and what if it was parvo and one of the puppies died?

I don't know the answer to these questions. I get the need to socialise early and agree with it, but with a business there has to be some policy to protect what you do. I would ask your practice owner about how old and after which vaccine would be suitable.

It will be to late for them at 2nd vac. You need to get socialising them before they are 12 weeks. We assess any pups starting vacs late (after 12 weeks) to see if they are suitable to come- if they are big and bouncy they can ruin the experience for the younger ones. I also do basic training for when they start going out and about, so older vacc'd pups are invited to this instead. (we have a play session after training to keep social skills up).

We also police the play strictly so no pup get pushed too hard or learns to bully others, if the groups are not supervised correctly it can do more harm than good.
