I saw that one and figured my cats would hate it!!!! the noise of the dryer would put mine off, plus it takes 30 minutes to do its cycle.....with 4 cats in the house i sense a load of innappropriate urination etc...the guy "selling" it said oh well you can still have normal trays as well.....hmmmmm think i'll stick to my normal trays and the litter I use, rather than both

Yea its £200 but worked out that iv spent £200 a yr on catlitter so will be saving in the long run really

Yep there are lots of goodies, take plenty of money, or b/f's money

I saw that litter tray at bvna congress, but im sure it was like £200!!!!! I wish i cud afford one, looks great

Its in birmingham nec 10.30 am it opens £10 a ticket i just goggled cat show and its the first one im so excited that imgoing thinkng of all the goodies il get for my two also want to show my b/f the self cleaning litter tray that i really want

Oh yeah I totally get that about the whole dog breeds thing I mean I dont agree with all these new "so called breeds" because they are a mixture & you dont know what your getting. Its the genuine pedigree breeds complete with KC registration, & that have been health screened along with their parents, siblings ect for breed defects. But I like my pedigrees because if you do your reasearch & find the right breed for you then you should know what to exspect & look out for & its the same with Horses, Livestock & Cats ect. xxx

its Tim Grufford-Jones, hes lecturer in feline medicine at bristol uni and has written loads of books and chapters in books about cats

I vetted in last year but think this year there are fewer cats being shown so less numbers of people needed to vet in

oops! He is a really nice guy to chat to, I never know when I'm chatting to important people, spoke to a few well know celebs, but had no clue till someone told me!

I love my Bengals, am lucky to have 2 that I never paid a penny for (the female was a gift from a friend of mine, got a free mating and ended up with 1 kitten who I kept) If your serious about the breed, and do your reseach you can know what your getting!

I think its the same for any animal though, you can spend a fortune!

I hope you take this in the tongue in cheak method it is meant to be written in!

It is THE biggest cat show in the calander, I've not been for years, and forgot its around novemeber, used to go with a friend who showed her cats there. It was always followed by the National Cat Show in London (which has sadly down-scaled to bracknell now after a major sponser pulled out)

The supreme allows cat owners to decorate the pens, which is not normally what happens at a cat show. Usually they can only have a white water bowl, and blankets inside the pens. Food is not allowed while the main judgeing is happening, but after the main classes are done with the owners come in and often the cats get food. The owners are also out the hall, this is meant to allow all the cats to be judged without any identifying marks...meaning it fair.....lol

The supreme they get removed from the pens and taken to the judging area (they are all cleaned between cats) thus there is meant to be no way to identify the cats (they do wear a paper collar with their numbers, or the numbers are off the pen is taken with the cat) The judges at the supreme will often say what they are looking at and judging on the cat, which is very interesting (at smaller "at the pen" shows I found they don't talk to anyone!)

it is a great day out, I'm not going this year, you can buy tickets on the day however be prepared for a huge que to get in (and this isnt with the show cats as they start getting there from half 6ish!!!!

Hiya I went last year.

I brought the tickets online, but yoy can buy them when you get there too.

I enjoyed it, but I love cats. You can walk around and see all the different breeds of cats that are being shown. There are stands to buy goodies, toys etc from. It wasnt as big as I expected, and alot of the cats seemed quite scared, hiding under the blanket in the cage, which upset me a little. But they dont stay too long, they generally keep them there until they get judged and then take them home.

Most of the cages are decorated by the owners, some look amazing!

Worth going though, just to experience it

Im taking my bf so hoping he spends the money, on the website it says open to the public from 10, says tickets are on sale on line but doesnt say weather thats the only place to get it

I went once many moons ago, and tbh I can't remember!!! My mate got the tickets.

It was a good day out, but I spent far too much money
