Just got my letter though for registering as a qualified and got the invite to the admissions ceremony....
Did anyone go to theirs? Is it worth it or should I get it posted through? Is it in the evening or during the day?

Light refreshments are available on the 4th floor. Comments I heard from family members when I was involved certainly make it worth the effort for those who can get there to do so, & several make a day of it, London Eye, Westminster Abbey & Houses of Parliament all within walking distance. 507 bus runs from Victoria & Waterloo stations & stops in Horseferry Road very near RCVS. Hope you get there & enjoy the day!
I definately want to go to the ceremony after all the hard work iv put in the last few years it will be nice to have my certificate and badge given to me rather than posted

Re: RCVS Admission ceremony

[quote user="icklesal"]

I think that it was definatly worth going to. I got the train to london victoria then a bus that stopped just up the road from the rcvs. My ceremony was at 2pm( i got there early and went to a very nice cafe/restaurant right next door to rcvs building for lunch first) and you are there in the rcvs for about 45mins ish. Didnt cost too much getting the train. Everybody was in their uniform which looks fab in the photos. You will look odd one out not wearing uniform. It just makes it feel like all the hardwork has paid off! There is also a photographer there taking pictures to buy at £8 each. I got one of each: group, individual with cert, me with my parents and individual receiving badge and cert during ceremony. I think that the photos were worth it! Hope that helps.

Re: RCVS Admission ceremony

not sure if it for both icklesal.....but defo for NVQ students....because thats what i am!
