havnt been for a little while but usually went to BSAVA and did the nursing and veterinary stream - a lot of the vet lectures were very useful when I was doing the diploma esp ECG, radiography, transfusion medicine and emergency assessment. I liked the interactive lectures. I found some of the nursing lectures were a little basic and quite a few of the decent nursing lectures had people outside the main hall watching on screens because there wasnt enough room (this happened for a few years in a run but one year was really bad). It was good tho to see some of the vet students taking an interest in some of the nursing lectures maybe it would give some of them an insight into our job after all we aint that different we are all working to the same goal

I prefer BVNA to BSAVA. Found the lectures better and more varied.

I'd love to go to the BVNA congress but i can never afford it and my work don't pay for stuff like that...i've never been...

I prefer the BVNA but go to both. My main reason is that you dont have to walk far to get from exhibition to lectures lol, so i make more lectures. And its £8 a day to park which is ridiculous, Free at BVNA

The exhibition is alot bigger at BSAVA though

I normally go to BVNA, but fancied a change this year and it loooks pretty good

Only MRCVS's can join BSAVA, so you would be looking at the Nurse and Animal Technician Streams only, which is £151 for whole congress at the mo
