She has been vomiting blood over night and she is pooing blood too.
Not got a clue what is up as took her to the vets on Wednesday and she hasn't even got a temperature.
It is also possible

Re: Major Dog Emergency

Glad to hear they are on the mend

Re: Major Dog Emergency
Hi Katy

Just noticed this - there's no way your dog could have eaten any rat bait in the last 4 days is there? I'd advise checking protrhombin time if you can to rule our anticoagulant rodenticide induced coagulopathy.... just a thought!

Alex
Ooh heck, luckily there was no way they could have got hold of that. She had bloods taken as well, but they were a bit off, but only because she was dehydrated.

Thanks for the info though!

Re: Major Dog Emergency

Thanks guys. It seems she had a really bad case of colitis. Not good.

Diesel had a mild case, but Sam was on fluids all day yesterday. She's better today, just a bit weak and tired. Nightmare.

It was like the Chain Saw Massacre in our kitchen yesterday.

Apparently there is a tummy bug going round in dogs at the mo round here, so they must have just caught it.

Very scary.

Re: Major Dog Emergency

Everything crossed for you and your dog(s) xxx

Re: Major Dog Emergency

Aw sorry to hear that! Have they been treated for Lungworm?
