I just need some feedback on what you would say is a good prize to be offered in a free prize draw. Working for one of the pharmaceutical manufacturers we've offered a wide variety of prizes over the years and I just wondered what appeals

Re: Prize draw incentives?

I also agree with what everyone else has said - personal prizes are much better than practice prizes! Let the bosses win practice prizes, us nurses would much prefer prizes for ourselves

Re: Prize draw incentives?

agree with everyone else. some form of treat for myself is preferred

Re: Prize draw incentives?

Anything I can eat, spend or wear

Re: Prize draw incentives?

I agree with things for us rather than practice. Like other have said, vouchers for experiences/shopping, games consoles, iPod etc would all go down well.

Re: Prize draw incentives?

Yep deffo agree that personal stuff is better. We love freebies and winning competitions etc, but a little frustrating when you win something for your practice and no one appreciates it that much or it just sits in a cupboard not being used

I won a nintendo ds at bvna congress, still waiting to receive it, but that was a good gift for me, I am very happy. Vouchers that you can use on a gift experience is good too, as you get to choose what you do

Re: Prize draw incentives?

We have just had delivered an anaesthetic machine that I won in a competition in May!!! My bosses haven't yet acknowledged that I have won them a free anaesthetic machine for their practice so soon I will probably be taking it home and using it as a clothes dryer in my kitchen.........................

I agree with the others, personal stuff that is a treat.

Re: Prize draw incentives?

Shopping vouchers or ipod, ipad etc for me!

Re: Prize draw incentives?

I agree with Kim! I personally love stuff for me that i wouldn't normally be able to afford or justify the cost of. So spa breaks, shopping vouchers, ipods etc would all definatly appeal! CPD is good but most VN's get some kind of CPD budget and i'd rather use that for CPD and get a little treat for me!

Re: Prize draw incentives?

I would personally like things for me.
