He then started complaining because I keep waking him up the night by heaving breathing.
I highly recc the 'Barrier Technique' - my BF of 12 years has the really annoying habit of 'blowing' in my face at night when I'm asleep - sometimes it feels like a hurricane! LOL! Well, gone are the windy nights cos now I use the barrier - a pillow between us! Get your cuddles then just before going to sleep insert barrier - problem solved!

I sleep in the 'starfish' position that leaves no room for another, hog the duvet when it's cold, kick and throw it off when it's warm, and in the last few years apparently snore 'like a hibernating Yeti...' When I lived in a flat with people sleeping in the bedroom of the other flat right above me, they could hear me snore...

I guess I'm just not a sleepover kind of girl!

In my defense, my cats don't mind at all... They still all sleep in the bed.

When you're snoring, do you think your cat thinks you are purring?

Re: Bf is such a light sleeper!
Me and my fella had a similar problem when we moved in together, except i woke him up fidgeting or stealing the duvet!!

Our solution was to buy a super king size bed!! If its only you breathing in his ear that wakes him up if you had a massive bed you'd each have enough space so that wouldnt be a problem!

I would try those nose strips that are supposed to open the sinuses- also you can get these specially shaped pillows that position your head in such a way that it opens your airways and makes you less noisy.

I HATE sleeping with my mouth open and it's not that I'm snoring, I just exhale really hard, a bit like a dog when it's dreaming lol

I keep waking up with him pinching my nose or telling me to rollover. Maybe I could try putting some pillows down my back so I don't rollover.
