nope wouldnt be enough however I did see an acorn on one of the memorial sites which looked good - but not particularly well finished. I have taken some bronze bar from the workshop (actually a piece of boiler he was working on for one of the locos) and have asked if a jeweller could turn it up in a lathe to something similar - but better finished. Its as hard as nails and will be an absolute sod to turn up which is why I wont do it myself but should look good when finished.

is dependant on price of course - so will wait and see.

Ask the man with the new car to make something simple even a little round bubble out of some of Tansys off cuts. Or if he feels that is a bit to fiddly take it to someone who is able to do it. You can not get more personal than that.

About 18months ago we got a leaflet and brochure at work regarding a company who put ashes into glass ornaments, or glass set into a ring or a necklace. I'm almost 100% they also did lockets for ashes

I believe they were based in the north east? Unfortunately I cant remember their name but I know they're about so they might show up on google?

I've got a locket that is like a bubble and I put in gold flakes that we had found when panning for gold. It's very pretty & it was from an online jewellers will try to dig out receipt for website address.

They had loads with different coloured bubbles and textures.

I have had a wee look online, and found a women who makes original pieces, also saw a firm that makes crystal from ashes... as in an ornament, dont think that is what you want though.

You could try some of the Pagan and Wiccan jewelery websites. Actually I might have something that you might like. It's an antique Egyptian eyeliner bottle on a chain. what sort of size are you looking for? I'm really into jewelry and odd things so i might be able to find something for you if you can give me a better discription of what you are looking for. feel free to private message me if you feel this is a more personal matter.

Rather than a manufacturer, you would probably be best going to an independant, we used to have a guy where I stay who would make anything you wanted, and he would make it from scratch or from any old gold/silver you had.

Have you tried looking online?

What kind of thing were you looking for?

you could always have a diamond made, but they are expensive
