I will take pics when my dad isn't about...not telling him cos he'd go mad!!! If anyone does want to buy them i'm not in a hurry for the money, so would be happy for payment whenever suits. And if they fell apart quickly i'd give you some money back, i don't want to rip anyone off!

I wish i hadn't been taken in by it I've been looking on ebay and looking at it people are selling 'genuine' Uggs that are fake. The pics of the boxes look fake etc. If i sell them on there i will be totally honest and say they are fake. But i don't want to get in trouble for selling fakes...do you think i would?

Would anyone on here like them/know anyone who'd like them? My mum paid £57.99, but i reckon we'd take £40, rather than loosing all the money and them going to waste. My other option is to keep them and give them to my niece next year, she's only 9 so still growing and is a 3-4 at the mo, so next year will probably fit her.

I can't believe how many dodgy websites there are selling 'uggs'. My sister and i were looking the other day and its so difficult to tell the difference and know which ones to trust. Maybe you could sell them on ebay? There are plenty of people who won't mind that they are fake and you might get some of your money back

Well i have well and truly learnt my lesson!!! The 'Uggs' arrived. They don't fit! I think they are half a size smaller than they say, so a 5 rather than a 5.5. I emailed the website about returns and this is the email i got...

So now i'm stuck with them You can tell they are fakes cos the sole, inside and label are a different colour to the real ones. The quality seems good to me though. My friend got a pair from the same site last year and they're still like new. God damn them being too small! My mum went and got me a pair from Schuh and got a 20% student discount after telling them what had happened!

I don't know if this is any use but at www.mmandmdirect.co.uk they have got the bailey uggs (the knitted ones with buttons) at half price. I think it works out at 59.00 for a pait compared to about 120 normally. Might be worth a look!

Well the 'Uggs' have arrived. They're too small and not as comfy as the real thing. So they're going back and going to look into some real ones! So will prob have a late birthday present from my parents as my birthday is on thurs, but never mind!

Ace boots! Are they New Rocks?

I wish I could wear my new rocks to work - so comfy and strurdy, and would deffo tone my calves running about with them on my feet!

I wore Clarkes at work until recently - then they got all holey..... so I am back with the good old DM's!

Need to replace them though - they have seen 10yrs good service and are more than a bit battered - best ask Santa for a new pair lol!

I'd rather spend more money on something decent but don't really do designer stuff. I just can't believe Uggs can cost £160! Maybe it's because I don't see the appeal.

I did spend over £100 on a pair of GHD's though! Totally worth it!

I so totally agree steph.....I like to spend a little more on more expensive things-not nescessarly designer-just better quality things and they last forever-or a lot lot longer. Example being I brought a coat from primark for £15-I wore everyday-like you should with a coat-within 2 weeks all the buttons had fallen of and the tie had ripped and the lining had come away from the main coat I brought a similar coat in Zara for £80 and its still going 3 years later....I'm not down grading primark at all-and don't get me wrong Primark is pretty cool for a bargain just totally agree spend a little more for it too last longer-and I know not eveyrone can afford to do that-I guess it whatever each individual can manage

i was raised to believe you get what you pay for. I buy nice things and most of them are expensive but it means i have them for many many years to come. for example Doc Martin boots and my Teva sandals. I've had a pair of each of them since i was 17yrs old and both of them I still wear and are in fab condition the only thing i've had done is have the doc's resoled, that's it. i'm 31 now... My Le Creuset pots and pans are the same as well as my Wustoff knives. I think it's better to spend a little more money less amount of times, then buy cheap shit and having to replace it all the time. I have two pairs of Uggs both with are 5yrs old and both are in great condition minus having to get new insoles for my black pair, but that was my own fault for wearing them to the beach and getting sand in them which wore down the sheep skin inside.
