Im starting my Dip AVN in January, very excited but wondered what books were good to get for background reading etc etc

Most books you can get out of the college library but my favourites are BSAVA advanced nursing manual, Anaeshtesia for Vet Nurses and General Pathology for Vet nurses. I am a bit of a book addict and just like to add to my collection but like I said not essential as you can get them from the library.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will need microsoft office as you need to do essays and power point presentations etc but if you dont have it once you enrol you can buy the student version a lot cheaper!!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do you know which modules you are starting with? I am doing the evidence based nursing and applied physiology, latter has lots of dissection sessions which I find fascinating!! As I work full time I am finding this is PLENTY to do and may go down to one module at a time next year.
