Could anyone tell me if it is common for puppies to get diaorrhea from wormers? My 10 week old pup has just had another one (given by vet) yesterday and again has a runny bum. He had it the last time he had a wormer also.

It can be common. Was it the same wormer that was given the time before because you could try a different wormer next time.

Start the little one on a bland diet ie boiled chicken, white fish and rice for a few days and then over a few more days slowly mix the normal food in so after a week the little one is back on their normal food. Just make sure it is little and often meals and make sure water is available at all times.

Any lethargy noticed or it becomes worse you will probably need to go back to your vet with a faecal sample aswell to rule out bacteria or parrasites.

Let us know how the little one gets on
