The only reason I ask is because I used to have 2 silver sharks (Bala sharks) in my tank and one died. I am not looking to get a new one so I am looking for a home for my lonely shark fish. He has other friends in the tank

Re: rehoming fish

Hello! Sorry to hear about the loss of your other shark, but I think you'd be hard pushed to find someone with a big enough tank for a Bala shark - 30-35cm+ as an adult is a lot of fish for a home aquarium! Might be better to try the Bristol Aquarium or Bristol Zoo? Bala sharks need to be in shoals of 5 or more to thrive - they're a bit aggressive if kept alone or in small groups. x
