We produce our own monthly newsletter, gets put on reception and sent with any bills, reminders, letters that are sent out. We include any relevant practice informaiton, staff news and something seasonally informative, also always have a quiz of some kind, be it crossword, suduko or quiz.

I used to make our practices, for both small animal and cat only practice.

I included practice news, maybe a topic/case of the month if we had any interesting cases in and clients consented to this being included

topical themes

Breed of the month - with any photos if any clients had any.

We had a header and asked clients to send in photos to use - they loved to see their pets made famous.

First aid topics

a Behaviour article

an a clinical/medical article

yep, include things which are relevant. Start off with positive stuff and then address the issues which need sorting out and then end with something positive again. Be honest and open to suggestion.

Ask everyone for their input first so you have points to work with.

i started our own newsletter a few months ago, i include seasonal stuff like keeping pets safe and cool in summer, er firework stress prevention also info on the practice and staff, i.e whos passd exams and opening times

im trying to do them every 2 months so that i have chance to come up with ideas and to make it, i do it on publisher
