i did a tandem at hibs two yearsa ago and loved it!!!!! also thought about taking it up but finances stopped me... one day! I hold that dream :)

PHA I will be at Langer the biggest centre in the UK and also best as far as l am concerned but then l am biased

In theory aff is 8 jumps/8 levels but it is very rare anyone does it in that. So you have to do rejumps at the level you failed until you pass that level.

Once you have done that you have to do 10 consolidation jumps.

Langar is 1700 for AFF/consolidation jumps/kit hire/bpa membership (1 year) You would pay for re-jumps/level. They do cheaper aff courses but get less so that is the best deal and one l will do.

They also do RAPS (static line) courses tandem to. Here is the link to AFF and the full site if you have any Q give them a ring and say Caro said to ring and ask whatever, course when they scream on no and throw the phone across the room it isn' my fault

Hi Caro,

It's great to hear that you are turning your loss into such a positive.

I did my first tandem in Slovenia in August and I flippin' loved it. My next plan is to do a static line, then although I cannot see myself affording it for a long time, I would like to go onto do AFF.

I've heard conflicting things about how many jumps and over how long, are you able to enlighten me please? Also, where will you be doing yours?

To avoid confusion Milko and Sian (his Fiancée) are family to me. Milko is at Langar and handled the day Brian died. I couldn't have got this far with out them and their strength.

Thanks Bengal l have a lot of saving to do and what with camper et al am going to be cutting things to the bone. Ahh well l want to do it better pull my finger out and work harder.
