Can i just really express some concerns...one of our staff members (practice co-ordinator) is on sick but it looks like that she's not coming back (although nobody knows and so we can't advertise for new staff yet) and our only RVN, who

Re: Everything...

Stella this sounds like you are really worked up about this (which I completely understand) and are just getting more and more anxious as you think about it.

I hope it helped a little to write it down but I think take this, sit and contemplate it further and write down very specific bullet points on what exactly are your major concerns with this whole situation. Then place them in order of importance to you and your career.

If there is anything on your list that you feel you can deal with yourself, then make a plan to do so. Other things, such as maybe your concerns about a new RVN not being fully equipt to train adequately- need expressing to your employer. It may be that they haven't even considered these sort of impacts yet and it may help them when they interview and select a new RVN for the role.

I think its great you liked your old RVN so much, you may even love your new one more! Don't panik though, you sound like you've got your head screwed on the right way and can spot a problem before it becomes one.....so hopefully find a solution beforehand too!

Good luck. Hope this isn't just useless ramble, feel free to ignore it if you do think so!!

Re: Everything...

OMG Stel.. sounds like major drama!.. you'll have to tell me aaallllll about it on sat night, I'm always here for ya babe, you know that.. we can drink & dance our troubles away!! loves ya lots like jelly tots xxx
