We have the 2 speed osters and both settings are pretty noisy

We also have the Andis cordless clippers, but I really don't like them, we have had nothing but problems with them - overheating constantly, loosing charge really quickly. I really rate Andis clippers as I use them to groom my own dogs, but I wouldn't go for the cordless ones.

our andis cordless ones are the best- i'm gradually getting rid of all our oster clippers.

like previous poster- they are soo quiet- great for cats,

and have a different cooling mechanism so don't blow hair all over too.

We have a set of ANDIS which are bit quieter than the Osters and the blades still fit which is a bonus!
