Haha! How about this...we start a thread on here and each time we see a lorry we put the name on a post?!

I don't think i'll get many cos i only drive on the motorway once a week to college, but i'll keep my eyes pealed!

Vicky Eddie Stobart lorries are all over the Motorway system (some small vans in towns) and he has very strict rules on driver dress and cleaness of lorries so they all stand out.

When Eddie Stobart started his business he named his lorries after his wife & daughter, then he started naiming them after the girls in his office. Traditionally, all his lorries have girls' names and everyone is unique. The names are on the front of the cab and on the doors.

The best one I've seen (except my own name) was Optimus Prime - who was the head transformer - no idea why he's gone down that route!

i know someone who used to do a lot of driving with her 2 young boys, and they kept a notepad in the glovebox, and wrote down all the eddie stobart names in about 10yrs (granted over the same stretches of road) they never saw the same lorry twice!

I've seen my name, including my middle name, once - I nearly crashed the car I got that excited!!! as we drive to BSAVA in Birmingham I make OH gather the names and he hates it!! He thinks I'm bonkers!

re Eddie Stobart lorries - a good friend of mine got her name when her father saw it on an Eddie Stobart lorry and thought it was sweet

her name is 'Esme'

Fi l am so glad to hear that about Eddie Stobart. I don't collect the names but when l see the lorries l am always chanting alls well old eddie is prowling about the motorways.

I thought I was the only sad person who would have gone on this site!!! I go on websites of companies when I see them on their lorries just to see what might have been in the back!

Sad I know!! I also collect Eddie Stobbart names!!

i love the ad too, but meerkats wouldn't survive in the cold like that! lol but i'm a little pedantic... :P
