There's no reason why you should be getting any additional spam as a result of the new website, or being a member of this website, regardless of whether you have an @vetnurse email address. We don't EVER give out your email address. Full stop.

More likely that it is just because spammers seem to send less spam over Christmas (because it's even less likely to generate a response). We switched the new site on half way through January, and it's probably just that that coincides with the time that spammers start sending more and more rubbish. My spam box certainly slowed down over Christmas and then started picking up again in the New Year.

can set your spam filters up on the account if you do not get many unknown emails and just sheck every so often.

Since I got my vetnurse email address, I get a lot of spam, especially ones starting

"Good day dearest one, I have £5,000,000,000,000,0000 in a bank account which I would like to give you"

I can't figure out how to stop them and that email is the one I use for all the nursing stuff, it hasn't been used on competition websites or anything.

I forgot to say I don't have a vetnurse email address but have noticed a slight increase of spam, not many though.

i hadn't really tied it in butcome to think about it, i dont get that many, sometimes 0 sometimes 5 a day

Nope only get my usual junk nothing extra but as l get up to several hundred junk mails a day anyhow l probably wouldnt notice. Thank the gods for mail washer.
