All the practices I have worked for have paid my RCVS fees. My new job asked me yesterday if I have had my letter to say it needs paying and if so then bring it in and they will sort it for me.

I've never worked in a practice that has paid my fees until now. The practice i'm in at the moment pays for RCVS and BVNA. I feel quite lucky!

According to the RCVS Survey of the Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing Professions 2010 (which is going to be published very soon....) 47% of VN respondents said their practice paid for their RCVS fees.

By comparison, 39% of vets said their practice paid their RCVS fees (whole or in part).

I pay my own fees for both RCVS and BVNA.

Last year I was a pending assessor, therefore the practice pays mine. Now as a clinical coach I assume they still will :) Although when I wasn't an assessor I had to pay my own.

Some practices do pay, some don't.
