aw thanks Vicky. Strangely enough, I had a phonecall from the Crematorium yesterday where Ranger went for private cremation, it was from the van driver telling me about a poster he had seen in another practice about a greyhound for rehoming and he thought of me! I was touched as I just thought it was so nice of him.

Sadly though, I'm not in a position to rehome another dog just yet, but like many others here, all my dogs are rescues, and any future ones will be too

Awww Paula you've rescued many a dog and they are very lucky! I sent a link to the poem to my nurse friend who's just rescued a staffy and it had her in tears! xxx

haha.. I thought of Stella.. she's re homed a staffie before, and might end up with the vets staff nxt year!

Thats so sad, the last 2 sentences got me the most. Just feel I should go and rescue a wee staffy now and give it a great home

I will rescue a wee homeless staffy one day when I am in a position to rehome another dog

I know. I work in a Day Care/Kennels and the staffies I have come across have been big crazy lumps!

Ban Neds from getting them would be a start!!

Oh I'm in tears now, thats so sad because its so true. I work at the pdsa and you wouldn't believe the suffering that you see, and the amount of unwanted dogs, it breaks my hearts because staffies are such beautiful dogs in the right hands. Wish there was more that we could do. :(
