Does anyone else use these? If so can you tell me where you get them from and how much you pay for them?

We used to keep MedDis for up to 7 days after making it up. When we used to clean our scopes it would take 15 litres of the stuff into the automatic cleaner. so pretty expensive to throw away every time. Some days we would use all 3 endoscopes, so kinda made it worth our while to reuse it.

Just looked on their website and it says it can last for up to 14 days. We were told 7 days by VES

We used to use it as cold steriliser in a sealed box for a month at a time....

I'm sure we would't'ce just magic-ed up that time from somewhere, someone must've told us we could do it or it was on the bottle....

You that medis is not really suitable as a cleaner its used as a cold sterilisation liquid.

We used to use Medizyme in out ultrasonic cleaner.

We used to use MedDis for sterilising our endoscopes, arthroscopes basically items unsuitable for autoclaving

Test strips should be available from the manufacture or from your vet supplier ie NVS, Dunlops etc

[/quote]

What Nick said

We use medizyme for cleaning, and meddis for sterilising things like et tubes, endoscope etc.

I've heard you can get test strips to check the efficacy of the meddis against spores etc, but have never used them - I think your best bet is the manufacturer..... which I failed to find on a quick google
