I thought it was quite interesting. Bigger than I thought it would be and enjoyed seeing all the armour and crown jewels and hearing about it's history. Why were you disappointed by it? I went to the London Dungeons the other year and I thought that was a complete waste of money as it was all role plays and not original.

I was impressed by the big vault doors they had to get in to the crown jewels! lol I wouldn't have paid £18 each to go in but seemed a bargain with BOGOF. At least you can tick it off your list of things to do :)

Spent the day in London on Tuesday.

Having spent 4 years in London whilst at uni, I do know my way around fairly well so walked between all the sights because my bf wanted to be a tourist for the day.

We also did the Tower of London and the London Eye and I enjoyed both of them. The tower was a lot bigger than I expected and I did enjoy learning about it's history. We used BOGOF offers on both so cost us £18 each in total which was a bargain. I love London! Made me miss living there!

I'm pretty sure I saw this as a kid when it was in Cornwall. We used to holiday down there every year and I remember going to a little museum full of stuffed animals doing things like this. Freaked me out! I'm not a great fan of taxidermy. It's the eyes!! lol

Tower of London's kinda boring unless you're really into history and suchlike. It's pretty much just like any castle I've ever seen. Nothing special about it.

Was it pants? I was thinking of going when I go to London in a couple of weeks.

The Ripper walk was actually really fun. We went with Ripping Yarns 'cos I read the reviews online and they seemed the best ones.

It's £7 per person and you pay at the end, they even say you don't have to pay if you're not satisfied but everyone in our group paid.

How was the jack the ripper walk nightshade? We really fancy this, well me!! Looks fun but is it?

And yeah Princess, we though the same, its a room, cheapest we could find for 2 people on a Saturday night in London, It'sw somewhere to sleep! Is it clean? Thats my only query to be honest, I can deal with it as long as it's clean!

6 weeks and counting! Need a break, I hate work!

I can not recommend Wicked enough. It's fantastic.

I didn't find the oyster card that good a deal. Cheapest way to get about is with a day travelcard. Costs £6.20 and you can use them all day on the tubes excluding peak times.

Also, go to a wee thing next to the Sealife Centre called Fright Club: Death Trap. Absolutely fantastic. It's an interactive horror show. Frightening (to me at least lol) and fun. Only lasts about 10 minutes.

And the museums are good and free.

I stayed at the easy hotel. £25/night. Stayed there with my mum. She hated it +++ but I didn't care too much. It was a cheap bed for the night allowing more spending money.

The room itself was tiny. L-shaped. The biggest part of the L was double-bed sized literally. The double bed touched the walls on all four sides. The smallest part of the L was about 1m wide by 1.5m long (if that from what I can remember - I have seen larger walk in kennels). The room was ensuite but the sink was TINY, the shower worked fine but there was no shower base/tray - it was basically a wet room with a toilet and sink stuck in it. Total size of this room was about the same as smallest part of the L.

I have stayed in better hostels in London TBH. They might have been shared but at least there was room to move around.

I work in Fulham (it's a horrible place!) so I can't get out of London quick enough at night!

However...Camden Market is fabulous although you'll need more than a couple of hours to look around!

Also if you like a good scare, pop along to the London Dungeon! The Tower of London is a must, the crown jewels are sooooo gorgeous (it's near the dungeon)! Also, natural history museum and Buckingham Palace!

I'll stop wafflinf now! Have fun! The buses are very regular and cheap but I always worry they'll tip over because most of them are double deckers!

It's really good. Loads of food stalls and quirky shops. It's normally packed with punks and hippys! hehe Normally quite a few celebs about aswell if you keep your eyes peeled!

Camden is ace! One of the RVC campuses is there so used to go wander around in our lunch break. You can wear anything in camden and look normal! hehe

you can use the Oystercard on the bus, tube and even some overground trains.

If you're going to Chinatown - visit the Dutch pub they've got lovely food snacks and special beers.
