I didn't watch it and don't really like the guy. Bits I've seen in the past all looked staged to me.

Sorry Sal like l say didn't watch it so assumed from comments made it was a one size fits all type thing he was doing.

So many people have said about life never being the same again (no s**t Sherlock) and the same words to me about not killing you making you stronger over dealing with Brian's death (not good words to use) l guess that's why l jumped onto it.

Am sorry for being so itchy toothed about it shall avoid this thread as safest you can kick my backside in November.

Caro - the program was relating to confidence building not bereavement. I appreciate that comment doesnt relate to bereavement for all people - but was never intended to I appreciate that you dont like him either ( and tbh some of the stuff he does I dont agree with either) but we all have different things that will work for us and different ways of processing stuff and what doesnt fit for some does with others - we all see the world in different ways

Hey put it this way it is not a nice experience l am in it right now. It hasn't made me stronger it has damm near destroyed me and l tend to hang on with fingernails a lot of the time.

It sure as hell won't make me stronger but it will slam my life off into uncharted waters l never wanted to go into and the only positive l can say is that l can not see me going through it again as nothing meant as much to me as Brian and in fact l don't ever want to go through something like this again because l very much doubt l could.

And the derran browns of the world are sure as s**t not going to do anything for me with their gimmicks. l am assured by all those who have been in the same position as me that it is time that will sort me that is all that really works.

I really love his shows, I do think he's amazing but some of the stuff on the Hero show I thought may have been a step too far. I'm really glad that it had such a positive outcome but I do wonder if it could have been a different story altogether. As the gentleman who taught me demonstrated 1000's of times when a person goes through a period of chaos what results is a paradigm shift (a new level of competency developed to deal with the situation) - and life is never the same again ( because you have that new learning and a different perspective) until the next period of chaos comes along for you to deal with and learn from. I thought this was a really elegant demonstration taking the person through building levels of chaos and then realising a beautiful result. I would love to see how this person continues to develop over the coming days,months and years and it is true the saying that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger

I have to say im afraid that i felt a lot of it was a bit staged, cant believe, the guys reaction to some of this, im sure i would be a little suspisious of what was going on if i was him, and the party thing a little too staged if you ask me, all that came out of the back of a van!!! i dont think so! sorry guys not convinced myself.
