I have already had a reaction reported today to Procyon!!! hope it settles, but the owners dont like change!! This is a breeder, she is nice, but they always seem to want to know 'that bit more', how, where, when etc!!

we use NVS.

We use Nobivac DHPPI & L. Last time we used Procyon L injected at separate sites.
We also used Eurican for annual boosters.
We have both in stock at the moment but I expect they will soon run out.

The problem comes with the starter injections as the course should not be different products......
so we have to try and retain enough for the second one which we give three weeks later....

We have gone back to duramune for the time being as we can't get any lepto from NVS.

We use Merial Euricans L and Dunlops ... our Merial rep phoned yesterday to say that there is a fairly good supply of it with Dunlops and that also Merial have kept a good supply back for 'special' practices so that if Dunlops run out then they can supply the practices direct ... and she said we were 'special'!

We use Nobivac L, I believe we are going to Procyon, unfortunately this was a pain last time this happened as they can not be mixed so have to be given in 2 seperate sites. They are also 3 weeks apart instead of 2. We had alot of vaccine reactions to Procyon last time it was used.

Dunlops out of procyon too at the moment but expecting soon. We are using durammune at the moment as that is at least in stock and can be given as 1 injection!!

'yet' being the operative word - if we dont get procyon L I guess we will be looking in this direction real soon

Were having trouble with L vaccs- has anyone else changed there vaccine protocol- we are now giving primary courses at 8 + 12 weeks and 1year... then giving only Parainfluenza and lepto on year 2 and 3 and then a ful DHPPIL on year 4.. etcc same with cats just FELV every 3rd year?

We use Dunlops and Nobivac - apparently been instructed to use Procyon L but can't be given together so to dilute the other portion (Pi/DHPPi) with diluent and then inject that and the lepto in separate sites. This protocol has full backing from vaccine companies regarding reactions etc too.

Same with us. We use Dunlops and only recently changed to Nobivac and I believe we will use Procyon L too. We always used Pfizer (Vanguard 7 and Lepto) before that.

We use Dunlops too, and I believe we're going to be using Procyon L. The Nobivac L was on back order for ages when I started in March 2008, I think we used Eurican L then...
