Just check out your contract at work! After all your practice are paying for your training they may not be happy about you working for another practice.

I know as a QVN it was written into my contract that I could not work for any other veterinary practices.

Great that what I was hoping to hear, not going to do it just yet need more training in some other stuff then I'll look into it more.

Don't see why not as ANA's and unqualified staff can locum but would depend on the practice on what you can/should do.

Only thing is I don't think you could use these hours towards your final amount when you apply for registration, and using any cases in locum practices might not be allowed (if you're doing portfolio that is!)?

i know 2 people that do it at 2nd year trainees, spose it depends on the experience and the practice!!
