When boss was on holiday we went dead! 2-3 routine consults a day! Thankfully a few last min boosters (emergency ones) and the odd procedure + emergancys kept us going. Was great as caught up with the paper work! Shame, had my holiday off work and it all built up again ;) Hahaha!

I always think its quieter over the holidays too.

I work on the outskirts of London, We are very busy with consults, But no routines or ops !

Yes! I have been locumming in various practices in the London area ALL Summer and most places, with the exception of the bigger hospitals have been completely dead. Maybe 4-5 ops a week and some evenings without any consults at all.

OK so i'm not from the London area. But we have be very busy through the summer but this last week we've been very quiet. we are putting this down to the good weather we have been having.
