I can't go anymore :( something has come up that i can't get out of.

Does anyone need a hotel room for the sunday night? I have booked a double room at the premier travel inn for Sunday 3rd Oct until Monday 4th Oct and it is non refundable. I paid 79 pound for the room but will take 60. The rooms are priced at 90 pound at the moment so this really is a good deal.

Also got train tickets from stoke-on-trent to euston return that i want to sell too if anyone interested.

Iv decided not to the ceremony-its a little to far for me and I really dont think il like being stood in a crowd :S. Just wondering how long it will take me to get my badge and cert as im not going to ceremony...Enjoy it the peeps that r going!

I stayed overnight, started about 10:30/11 as I remember, took seemingly ages to get across London from where we were staying!

Didn't help that it was the day Tony Blair stepped down/Gordon Brown was sworn in...

RCVS day started around 11am but went down the night before and stayed with my sister.

Can anyone remember roughly what time it started? I want to work out whether to stay the night before or the night after. If it doesn't start till late in the day would prefer to stay the night after but if it is an early start then obviously night before would be better.

I went for my certificate & badge, wore my greens, all but one girl were in uniform, there were 2 or 3 PDSA nurses who looked a little out of place, but no-one really noticed.

My hubby & stepdad ended up in a photo of the seated crowd in the RCVS news!

I don't think i'd wear my uniform, we're all in navy so i'd stick out like a sore thumb!

When I went to RCVS to collect VN badge most wore smart dress. I wore Smart trousers, shirt and tie. Some wore their uniforms.

When I went to RCVS day to collect my Diploma only two wore uniforms and everyone wore smart dress.

I had to choose between RCVS graduation or degree graduation as I can't afford to go to both Hope you have a great time!

Congrats on qualifying!! I'm not quite there yet, but will deffo be going to the RCVS graduation when I do qualify, funds and babysitters permitting Just to see inside the RCVS if nothing else LOL

Hope you have a fab time!
