I had the same thoughts. What happened is awful but at the same time animal welfare is why we are here in the first place so I'm in two minds about their aims.

I'm sure some changes need to be made to the current system to update it but isn't the complaint system as the RCVS working ok?

(its been a looong hard day, heads pickled enough as it is lol)

From reading their arguements it looks like their main problem is they feel the RCVS is biased towards the vets and too many complaints are not followed though. Not 100% sure where there are any facts to support this yet... still looking.

Oh Ive heard about this 'Ted' very sad story but annoys me its tarring us all with the same brush! It seems as there was a misdiagnosis,

And their mission state to ensure protection when handed over to a vets, animals welfare is our first priority.

If its just the RCVS they will be attacking then fair enough I am sure that changes are needed?
