So 2 years from now hopefully i'll be getting ready to start uni.

Re: I've finally done it!
So do you plan to return to Veterinary Nursing when you have qualified Nick?
Dunno yet TBH! Lots and lots of opportunities within the NHS/Private human medicine for radiographers althou I like the idea of working as a veterinary radiographer. not just in CT and MR but also plain filming and theatre work!

Prob wouldn't return to nursing. Would maybe like to teaching imaging to nurses

Re: I've finally done it!

So do you plan to return to Veterinary Nursing when you have qualified Nick?

Re: I've finally done it!

Only because currently employed within NHS and have to wait a year before leaving.

5 Years! Good that sounds like a long time. The access course will take 2 years as i'm doing it part time due to family commitments but once at uni should take 3 years to complete!

Re: I've finally done it!

brilliant, i have been very tempted with midwifery, how long will it take you all in all?

Re: I've finally done it!

Good luck. I know a couple of nurses who have gone to retrain and are much happier for it. My EEG was carried out by an ex VN from a neighbouring practice!

Re: I've finally done it!

good luck, i thought about that but wasn't sure about all the nhs bureaucracy , mind you some vet practices are prob just as bad!
