My previous practice funded part of my diploma. Then, when i passed, the practice manager asked me how much i had paid myself so I told him the amount (roughly off the top of my head initially!!) and he came back and told me the partners were going to refund the money i had paid. That was very nice! This was a mixed practice not a referral centre. When i started it was just after FMD so farming had taken a dip and there wasn't the money around to pay for it outright at the time.

My practice funded m diploma and my previous one also offered it.

Some may tie you into two yr contract following qualification

This is the quote as of last month when I was accpeted onto the course. My practice has just paid for my first year and all is right!

I haven't included petrol and food in the quote though

what college are you going to? cause the college I was applying for asked me 1450 per year, excluding books and uniforms,and accommodation, they then asked 50 for enrolment and 190 for RCVS and I think that excluded exam fees!!

sarinhaa they are discussing the cost involved with the Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, not the Level III Diploma or the Degree.

No idea where these quotes have been coming from,I paid 1,300 1st yr not including the hotel/petrol living allowance etc, which cost me 110.00 hotel, 60.00 petrol and about 30.00 living allowance etc each college visit have been quoted 1,030 for 2nd yr without living/hotel petrol etc

Both Myerscough, Harper Adams and RVC all charge different prices prob best check ut each uni and checking out local accommodation. Depends which area of the country you live as to which one would be best for you.

Oh and not sure if the RVC grad. Diploma is accredited by RCVS yet??? ie you won't get the blue badge. Things might of changed
