Will print off as you suggested, and I don't wear make up anyway, I have no clue how to put it on! It's a nursing position, I know they have a head nurse and a VN position going, I just sent the CV to see what happened.

Will def sleep on it, need to pack for my holiday as well! Eep!

Will def let you know.
Thanks again x

Re: interview tomorrow

Hi, I just wanted to wish you the very best of luck. The fact that you sent in your cv only yesterday and they want to see you so soon is a great sign. They must be very impressed.

Best of luck, Im sure it will go great.

All the best,

I don't think there's anything that you need to take - if you're on the register then they can check that easily enough, and assume that the RCVS has seen your nursing certs!

I sometimes take a hard copy of my CV as one potential boss didn't have it printed out to refer to for the interview... having said that, it should have rung alarm bells as to his practice management skills but live and learn

Look organised - no overflowing handbag etc. I personally would steer clear of long nails or nail polish - implies a certain lack of work ethic i think! Otherwise just relax, smile, and be natural. People really respond to you being friendly and open.

Whats the position? Don't forget - you are an RVN, you have put in your long hours to qualify, and sounds like you have been in one practice for a good while, those are massive points in your favour and you are "worth" an awful lot! Remember there is a shortage of qualified VNs for the number of permanent jobs available which gives you the bargaining edge (should you be feeling brave enough to bargain, which I never am... )

Good luck and let us know how it goes! Get some sleep!
