Would've been about 2 years ago. April 2008 I started there & it had just happened.

Re: Idexx V's Finn

The discounts with Idexx are generally good but my last place started to use Greendale more and these were very good. It means that we get a bigger discount with them which keeps the boss happy.

I have to admit that Idexx are beginning to fall from grace. When they were Vetlab, we received a cracking service with comprehensive comments from the pathologists. Now they're Idexx, over time those comments appear to be automatically generated by a computer and they don't seem to take into account the clinical history we put on the form.

We send ALL our blood samples to Idexx (boss won't have in-house machines) and pretty much relies on them to interpret them. I have suggested using the non-interpreted profiles available but he just won't have it. I think this is a real shame, the non-interpreted profiles are much cheaper for the client (the other profiles are quite expensive so we don't put a mark up on them) leaving a more cash left over for treatment of the patient.

Has anybody else noticed this?

Re: Idexx V's Finn

i think i am lucky where i am as we do have an onsite lab for most things, however we send our tests to various places depending on the test we want, some will go to idexx some to csls some to various other places, histo goes to bridge pathology and cytology goes to six mile bottom

Re: Idexx V's Finn

[quote user="Rachel Jayne RVN C-SQP MBVNA"]
