Hi,

I live in Shropshire and not long finished my degree at Harper. I lived and commuted from Shrewsbury each day by bus (which I wouldn't recocomend!!!) but if you drive its a pretty straight forward commute. Shrewsbury also has the quarry park, which is an excellent place to walk the dogs. Telford is also an easy commute as I have also travelled this!

Unfortunately I'm not sure about pet friendly places but do know the following estate agents are very helpful:

Harper and the RVC did an exchange weekend and so me and my mate went up and stayed in halls with 4 farmer boys. Was hilarious!

And Harper Adams has the best student bar ever!

One of my best friends lives in Shrewsbury but that's not that close. Good luck finding somewhere!

Hi, thanks for the replies so far. I am looking as far as Telford but not as far as Stafford. I don't want to live too far away as the cost of commuting soon adds up I was looking at renting a room out but it looks to me as though there is a glut of rooms to rent so I don't want to relie on this as a source of additional income! Therefore, I need to rent close to work so that my commuting costs aren't high!!!

You could look at Telford aswell, there is the M54 which isn't too busy that would get you to Newport quite quickly (if you drive). Telford is about ten miles away from Newport.

Hey there

I used to live in Whitchurch which is a bit further north. Have you looked at Stafford? to the east at least it got mainline train station for ease of travel to friends and family and vise versa.

Good luck with the move. We'll come visit, althou not the same as Edi
