Yes you get certificates and I think its 2 hours each session.

I just wanted to let everyone know that where I work offers free CPDs for Vets and Nurses with a tour of the practice plus free food and drink. They are done by the vets who work there, they specialise in areas such as soft tissue, internal medicine, imaging, ophthalmic and orthopedic. Please refer to the link below for more information

At the risk of being told off for shameless self promotion , Veterinary Nurse Solutions whilst Australian based, has a free InPatient care course, and cheap online courses steadily added (AUD$55 for a catheter care course, thats roughly 30 pounds).

We also have a few more 'cheap' courses being added shortly. Happy to take requests as well.

What;s your degree in? You might be able to use some of your lectures as CPD. I have/do.

Okey dokey...

IDEXX do free online courses with their equipment as well as other topics such as urinalysis.

Hill's with their partnership scheme do free online 'appointments' which range from lifestage to clinical nutrition.

Dechra do a fluid therapy course and have recently brought out a hyperthyroidism course online.

Hope that helps a little. Don't forget competitions that require you to read info and answer questions also count!

Have you checked your BVNA regional CPD? Very good, low cost CPD so ideal for nursing budgets
