Tonight getting

Stew just bog standard.

Pork which l have to say l am enjoying got some onions, punnet mushrooms, packet sweet spuds and shoulder (neck) of pork and oxo granules with loads garlic granules and also mixed herbs. I did a google for a recipe used an easy one. Only thing it said use max 0.5 cup of water, l didn't think it looked much so used a mug.. wayyyyyyyyyy to much lesson 2 don't 2nd guess!.

I have done things at night as l wanted to keep an eye on things but l am happy enough now to leave it to it's self in the day. Pork said 10hrs but l was in bed etc and so it got 12 and is fine. Think times may be estimate and can come out sooner or later.

For someone who is so notorious a cook l have to say thanks to everyone who said to get a slow cooker so far so good.

Re: Slow Cooker

slow cookers rock!! I use mine all the time, and they're sooo easy. Honestly, and the foods all done at whatever time you want it. Often need to brown meat and parboil veggies before putting them in the slow cooker, so it can just continue to cook. They're great though, nothing beats getting back late and smelling home made soup or whatever as soon as you walk in the door :-D

Re: Slow Cooker

I'm thinking of getting one.
